About Casa de Primo

Over 30 years ago, my grandparents, Bob and Norma, brought home a few wooden paddles and a net from Florida. What followed weren’t tournaments or medals — just family games in the front yard.

Somehow, pickleball stuck.

It became our excuse to gather, compete, laugh, and stay connected across generations. Decades later, that same simple game brought me to Puerto Rico with one clear idea: to create a place where people come together through play.

Casa de Primo was built around that belief. Not as a resort. Not as a rental. But as a home designed for movement, community, and shared experiences — with pickleball at the center.

Bob and Norma are still with us today at 97 and 98 years old. Call it good genes. Call it pickleball. Either way, we’re convinced the game has something to do with it.

And we’re here to keep it going.

The best part? Grandma might still beat me.
